Life Transformation

“Transformation is fast. Healing is slow.”

The moment of truth in which we transform is truly a short moment out of our long lives. It may be a minute or an hour, but not much more. And we may feel absolutely fantastic and ecstatic. And it doesn’t last. You have gone and restored the core of you, to knowing who you are. You are no longer walking around in the dark. Yet darkness seems to descend. You may start to question whether you have truly transformed. You have transformed, and there are three reasons for what is happening to you. First, there may be more deep work to do. Second, your body and mind are still catching up¾they are still trained to respond the way they used to. Third, your life around you still looks the same.

Three reasons why the joy of transformation doesn’t last, and what to do:

1)You have more places to heal.
      What to do: Emotion work.

2)Your mind and body need to catch up.
      What to do: Dynamical work.

3)Your life around you looks just the same.

What to do: Integration work.

Emotions

Offen, after a journey, we need to keep going: there is more work to do. We are like an arch, and we may put one stone in it, but until we have put enough stones in, and we can put in the keystone, does the arch stand by itself and we can relax. These stones represent major relationships or events in our lives in which we got hurt or lost.

Dynamics

Getting your mind and body to catch up and realize that it doesn’t need to react the way it has been trained is a long process. It gets easier and easier, eventually taking just one breath to clear it out. The dynamics of your life that arose from your deepest wounds need to unravel themselves and dissipate. Such dynamics might be arguing in a relationship, or not asking for what you want. Once you have done the deep emotional transformation, it is possible to shift these dynamics rather easily. It takes awareness, intention, and guidance.

Integration

Finally, there are all the elements of your life. Everything in your life was created out of your love and your pain.  Through thousands of decisions, your life becomes a true reflection of you.

Once you begin to acknowledge and own the responsibility for your life, and have done the deep emotional work, you can begin to transform your life so that your life is a reflection of only the love that you are. When you were in darkness, your world was in alignment with your darkness. When you begin to live in light, your world will come into alignment with your love and your light. The challenge in healing your life is to maintain your inner state of love while it doesn’t match your outer life. During your healing transition, your inner world may be out of alignment with your outer life. It requires attentiveness and support to navigate this transition.

Time and Intention

The process of shifting the dynamics and structure of your life takes time and intention.  The transformation inside you is fast. The healing of your life is slow. It is no different than surgery: a doctor may sew up a wound, and you are transformed. You are no longer a person open and bleeding. Yet the wounds take time to heal. If you hold your intention to bring your transformation to your life, the world will gradually shift into alignment with the love that you are.
